BONACCHI

TOSCANA


Cantine Bonacchi grow the best Tuscan grapes and make them into wine in Montalbano, in the heart of the Chianti production zone.
The winery owns 70 hectares of vines and the grapes are harvested using traditional methods and modern automated machinery ensuring top quality in the final product.
The new building of the centre of the Estate has modern winemaking machinery and a spacious cellar for storing and ageing in barriques.


Wines:



Brunello di Montalcino

Made with the best Sangiovese grosso grapes, aged in oak barrels for at leat four years and in bottles for six months. The wine is ruby red with garnet hues, with a generous nose with hints of violets and vanilla and a robust, velvety flavour. It is produced in the Montalcino area in the province of Siena.


Rosso di Montalcino
It is produced with large sangiovese grapes as per specifications and kept in casks for at least one year. After slight refinement in bottles, this bright red wines develops a nice scent, woody smell with a velvet taste. It is produced in the Municipality of Montalcino in the province of Siena.

Nobile di Montepulciano
 


This is one of the most prestigious DOCG in Tuscany, made from carefully selected prugnolo gentile, mammolo and canaiolo grapes. It is produced in a limited area of Montepulciano in the province of Siena.



Badesco Toscano (Tipical Greographic indication)

Aged in small fine French oak barrels which release their fragtant aromas into the wine. The austere wine is stored in old underground cellars and is garnet red in colour with perfectly balanced tannin. Produced from a selection of the best grapes of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.




Chianti Classico Riserva 


Only the best Chianti Classico wines with good structure and a high alcohol content are made into riservas. After ageing in oak barrels and in bottles, the product is ruby red in colour with garnet hues, an intence lingering nose and a dry, velvety flavour. In order to qualify as a Riserva, the Chianti Classico must be aged for at least two years in barrels and three months in bottles.

Chianti Classico 

The prestigious wine is part of the elite of international wines. From a selection of the best Chianti Classico wines, it is deepy ruby red in colour with an intense, enfolding aroma and a warm, full, aromatic flavour. From a limited area in the provinces of Florence and Siena.



Morellino di Scansano 

This wine is intense ruby red in colour with purple hues. The aroma is heady and subtle with a soft, dry flavour. It is produced in the hills of the province of Grosseto between the Ombrone and Albegna rivers.



Chianti Riserva 
The result of careful selection, the Chianti Riserva is aged in oak barrels . Ageing gives the wine ruby red colour with garnet hues, an intense, lingering aroma and dry velvety flavour. To be called “Riserva”, Chianti wine must be aged for at least two years, and at least three months in bottles.



Chianti Montalbano  
Made in the estate’s own vineyards, on the foothills of Montalbano. The wine is typically ruby ruby red in colour with an intensely heady nose andaromatic, slightly tannic flavour. Produced in a subzone of Chianti, localised in the Montalbano hills between the provinces of Florence and Pistoia.


Chianti Gentilesco  


The result of carefull expert selection, this wine represents the very best of Chianti. Typically tangy, fresh and digestive. From the hills of the provinces of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Pistoia and Pisa. Grapes: Sangiovese (minimum 85%), other typical Tuscan varieties (Canaiolo, Malvasia del Chianti for the remaining 15%).



Vin Santo del Chianti

Vin Santo is a classical tuscan product made from the best quality dried trebbiano and malvasia bianca grapes. The wine has amber colour thanks to ageing and a highly intense, heady aroma and sweetish flavour. It is excellent served at the end of a meal with dessert. Produced in Chianti, in central Tuscany. Grapes: Trebbiano toscano and malvasia (minimum 70%), the remaining 30% other white and black varieties recommended in the production specifications.

Vernaccia di S. Gemignano


Vernaccia di S. Gemignano is subtle straw-yellow in colour with a delicate , penetrating aroma, typical fruity flavour and bitterish finish.. It is made exclusively in the San Geminiano area in the province of Siena. Grapes: Vernaccia (minimum 90%) and other white, non aromatic varieties for the remaining 10%.


Sangiovese Toscano (Tipical Greographic indication)

 The wine comes from the same area as Chianti and shares many of the characteristics of tuscan wine: it is fresh, velvety, with a harmonious full-bodied flavour. Grapes:100% Sangiovese.



Novello di Toscana (Tipical Greographic indication)


The best Sangiovese grapes undergo carbonic maceration to make the wine with its fresh, fruity aromas and harmonious, balanced flavour. Made in Tuscany.



Montepulciano d’Abruzzo


The wine is intense ruby red in colour with purple hues. The aroma is heady and subtle with a soft, dry flavour. From the hilly areas of the provinces of Chieti, Aquila, Pescara and Teramo. Grapes: Montepulciano minimim 85%, remaining 15% other black grape varieties.

Orvieto Classico (Registered designation of origin)


This wine’s soft pale yellow is obtained from the best trebbiano, malvasia, verdello and grechetto grapes. It is a delicate and pleasant scent with a floreal and fruity smell.

VENETO (ZONA VALDOBBIADENE)





Set up in the fifties, the Azienda Vinicola Colferai, located on the terrain of the Veneto on the Prosecco road amidst the marvellous hills of Conegliano which lead to Valdobbiadene, selects the best grapes for wine making.
Its many years of experience in the sector, the technologies it employs and its respect for tradition together with its storage capacity (approx. 50,000 hectolitres) and its around 100 hectares of vineyards extending through the areas of Prosecco DOCG (Controlled Designation of Origin Guaranteed) and the Grave del Friuli DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) area have allowed Colferai to produce wine from its own grapes plus those produced by around fifty historical producers in the area and to be able to offer a product with homogenous features throughout the year which are highly important factors for the “loose” wine market.


PINOT BIANCO IGT Veneto (IGT – Denotes wine from a specific region in Italy)

Denotes wine typical of the Veneto. Light straw yellow in colour. A wine with great character and a fresh lively and relatively dry taste. Ideal with light starters, first courses and vegetable and fish risottos. Also suitable for grilled fish and egg based dishes.

PINOT GRIGIO IGT Venezia


Denotes wine typical of the Veneto. Light straw yellow coloured, it is a dry white wine which is soft and delicate. Its fine elegance and discretion means it can accompany a wide range of dishes. Delicious on its own or as an aperitif it is especially suitable with starters of fish in sauce, with ham and melon, thick soups and broths and egg and fish based dishes




PINOT GRIGIO (screw cap) IGT Venezia

Denotes wine typical of the Veneto. Light straw yellow coloured, it is a dry white wine which is soft and delicate. Its fine elegance and discretion means it can accompany a wide range of dishes. Delicious on its own or as an aperitif it is especially suitable with starters of fish in sauce, with ham and melon, thick soups and broths and egg and fish based dishes.


PROSECCO DOC Still DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) 

Light straw yellow in colour, this wine has a flowery perfume and invites love.
Made for being carefree and living a life full of fantasy.


CABERNET IGT Sparkling
Indicazione geografica tipica (IGT – Denotes wine from a specific region in Italy): 
Intense ruby red in colour with violet hues. It has a slightly herby perfume with hints of raspberry. Round bodied and aromatic.
Excellent with grilled meat, mixed kebabs and game as well as with hard cheeses.



MERLOT VENETO IGT

Ruby red in colour, this is a full bodied and robust wine with a slightly herby taste. When young it has a raspberry perfume but after some years of ageing it becomes remarkably finer taking on a drier taste with a pleasing bitter aftertaste and a fine bouquet.
Excellent with roasts, fried dishes and white and red meat stews.



MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO DOC

Intense ruby red in colour with slightly violet hues. It has a dry taste which is slightly tannic and is full bodied making it ideal for accompanying great roasts, grilled meat and kebabs.


NERO D' AVOLA SICILIA DOC

Intense ruby red in colour, this wine is characterised by its delicate wild fruit, spices and liquorice notes. Full flavoured with velvety and persistent taste. Full bodied with well balanced, soft and velvety tannins. Excellent with medium matured cheeses and red meat dishes.



CABERNET VENETO IGT

This full bodied wine is ruby red in colour with an elegant and aristocratic taste.
Especially suitable for roast red and white meat, braised meats and game, it also complements cold cuts and salami in general.

MALVASIA VENETO IGT

Sparkling. Light straw yellow in colour, this wine is lively and brilliant.
The winy perfume is elegant and has a decided bouquet.
Sweetish, it is ideal as a wine to be sipped outside meal times but is also great for accompanying desserts and patisserie in general. Bright and brillant straw-yellow wine.
Delicately vinous perfume with a clear bouquet. Slightly sweet, particularly suitable between meals, yet an excellent accompaniment for desserts and pastries. For immediate consumption. Store in a cool and dark place with bottle placed vertically.


MARZEMINO VENETO IGT

Sparkling. This wine is ruby red in colour. The perfume is intense yet delicate, notably fruity with definite hints of violet and raspberry. Excellent bodied wine, sweetish, full and pleasantly bitter. Ideal as a wine for sipping outside meal times and excellent with desserts and dry pastries in general.

Wine-making traditions since 1907 in the Marano di Valpolicella valley. Five generations enamoured of land, vineyards and grapes. This was the year when the century-long story began of a wine cellar achieving excellence thanks to the love and passion of its components. The Campagnola company cares for vineyards, selects grapes and collaborates actively with more than 50 wine-growers in the most vocational vineyards around Marano di Valpolicella for a total of about 80 hectares. It also has 30 hectares in the Bardolino area, 25 hectares near Mortegliano in Friuli Venezia Giulia and collaborates with wine-growers in the Soave area with about 20 hectares.

Santa Sofia winery

Established in 1811, the Santa Sofia winery has headquarter and cellars in Pedemonte, north of Verona (Italy). Santa Sofia, with the turn-over of generations, has built up and maintained a reputation as a “small estate with high quality” and has become one of the most refined and significant realities in the Veronese winemaking world. Production area
In the vineyards of Custoza, Castelnuovo del Garda and Valeggio sul Mincio, South-East of Lake Garda, which have morainic soil.

Trebbiano, Garganega, Tocai Friulano, Cortese, Malvasia, Riesling, Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay in percentages established by law.

South of Lake Garda. From the hillside vineyards with clay soils mainly of post-glacial limestone, located in the municipalities of Peschiera del Garda and Desenzano.

BARDOLINO CHIARETTO D.O.C. CLASSICO

Production area
Classic Bardolino area. In the vineyards of Lazise and Bardolino, East of Lake Garda, wich have glacial-morainic origins.
Grape varieties
Corvina (55%), Rondinella (30%), Molinara (15%), vinified in “rosé” which means that the solid parts are macerated with the must only for a little period of time.
Sensory impressions
Pinkish colour. Vinous, slightly fruity and delicate bouquet.
Dry, gentle, with a slightly bitter aftertaste.



AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA D.O.C. CLASSICO DE DIVINO PALLADIO 2003

Production area
Classic Valpolicella area. From vineyard with old vines of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, positioned in stony hills of medium density situated in the municipality of San Ambrogio in the village of San Giorgio to the North of Verona.
Grapes varieties
Corvina and Corvinone (75%) Rondinella (25%), with drying of the grapes for 110 days with a loss of water by 30%.
Sensory impressions
Strong ruby red that becomes garnet by the time. An elegant and warm wine, with great stuff, smooth tannins, perfumes of vanilla, liquorice, prunes, cherry.




GIOÈ AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA D.O.C. CLASSICO 2007

Production area
Classic Valpolicella area. On hilltop vineyards in the village of Negrar, Fumane and San Pietro in Cariano, North of Verona.
Grape varieties
Corvina and Corvinone (70%), Rondinella (25%), Molinara (5%), with drying of grapes for a period ranging of about 100 days.
Sensory impressions
Strong ruby red tending to garnet with time. Spicy and typical bouquet, with slight taste of vanilla and liquorice. Full, warm and velvety taste, slightly smoked in the finish.


GIOÈ AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA D.O.C. CLASSICO

Production area
Classic Valpolicella area. On hilltop vineyards in the village of Negrar, Fumane and San Pietro in Cariano, North of Verona.

Production area
Classic Valpolicella area, on the stony hills in the village of Negrar, Fumane, San Pietro Incariano and Marano, North of Verona.
Grape varieties
Corvina and Corvinone(70%), Rondinella (25%), Molinara (5%), with drying of grapes for a period ranging from 90 to 120 days with a loss of water of 30%.
Sensory impressions
Strong ruby red that becomes garnet. Typical and very intense bouquet but with a delicate, full, warm and velvety taste.



ARLÈO I.G.T. ROSSO DEL VERONESE

Production area
From vineyards on the rocky, medium-dense hillside terrain located in the town districts of Negrar, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano to the north of Verona.
Grape varieties
Corvina and Corvinone (85%), with drying of grapes for approx. 60 days leading to a 20% drop in water content, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (15%).
Sensory impressions
Strong ruby red colour tending to garnet with time.
Typical, very intense and personalised bouquet.
Full, smooth, velvety taste with special character.



PREDAIA I.G.T. CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Production area
The Three “Venezie” area (North East of Italy). On hilly vineyards with a marny and morainic soil.
Grapes varieties
Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella (15%) with frying of the last two grapes for a period of approx. 90 days.
Sensory impressions
Deep ruby red. Spicy, intense and personalised bouquet. Harmonious and smooth taste, with a good pattern and slight vanilla taste in the finish.



MONTEGRADELLA VALPOLICELLA D.O.C. CLASSICO SUPERIORE
Production area
Classic Valpolicella area. On hilly vineyards with marly soil in the village of Fumane and Marano.
Grapes varieties
Corvina and Corvinone (70%), Rondinella (25%), Molinara (5%), with drying of grapes for approx.40-45 days with a loss of water of 20%.
Sensory impressions
Strong ruby red colour. Intense bouquet with its own personality. Velvety, smooth and harmonious taste.


VALPOLICELLA Ripasso D.O.C. SUPERIORE
Production area
North of Verona, in the hilly vineyards with medium density soil tending to be calcareous, situated in the villages of Negrar, Fumane, S. Pietro In Cariano and Marano.
Grape varieties
Corvina (70%), Rondinella (25%), Molinara (5%)
Sensory impressions
Intense dark ruby colour. Elegant spiced bouquet. A full persisting and extremely harmonious taste.


MERLOT CORVINA VENETO I.G.T.
Production area
Veronese hills, with soils of medium mixture tending to calcareous one.
Grape varieties
Merlot (60%), Corvina (40%)
Sensory impressions
Strong ruby red. It is a strong wine and at the same time fresh with taste of violet and bitter almond.


VALPOLICELLA D.O.C. CLASSICO
Production area
Classic Valpolicella area. In the vineyards of San Pietro Incariano and Negrar which have chalky soil.
Grape varieties
Corvina and Corvinone (70%), Rondinella (25%), Molinara (5%).
Sensory impressions
Ruby red colour. Vinous, intense and typical bouquet. Dry, harmonious and smooth taste.



BARDOLINO D.O.C. CLASSICO
Production area
Classic Bardolino area. In the vineyards of Lazise and Bardolino hills, East of Lake Garda, which have glacial-morainic origins.
Grape varieties
Corvina (55%), Rondinella (35%), Molinara (10%).
Sensory impressions
Ruby red colour. Vinous, fruity and delicate bouquet. Dry, savoury and fresh taste.
